Dial Question
Hi all,
I have a 18038 Day-Date 1984-1985 serial. In certain lighting, on the black dial I can see something on the dial. In one section it sort of looks like a smudge or fingerprint (but not really) and on another section it looks like a smudge or a tiny mark of some sort. In other lighting or in daily wear it really can't be seen, but it's there. Since the piece is 31 years old, is it common or uncommon for dials to become what's the word...aged? I could try to take photos, but I'm not sure if what I am referencing will display. Thanks!

Sure they age. They crack, bubble, deteriorate and fade; sometimes they look as good as new for quite a long time though.
