I'm getting this bad boy next week, and just wondered about peoples experiences with Seiko Premiers over extended periods of time?

How well do they hold up? And please, post your Seiko Premier!

Seiko make extremely robust and reliable movements.

There are also true manufactures as in all components for their watches are made in-house.

I read you post on another thread, is this instead of the rollie you asked for financing one? just curious.

Cant help you with the seiko, but if jedi says its sweet, then sweet it is!

No, this is just to hold me over until then! It will also serve as my 'general' timekeeper. Don't really wanna walk around with a Rolex in South London, trust me!

I know nothing about the Premiere line, but I can tell you that my Seiko Spring Drive has been nothing less than stellar.

I used to bop around Brixton with my SubDate when I lived in London. Also Shoreditch, Limehouse etc. No worries at all. Even Shepherd's Bush

Premier line is Seiko`s high end line,positioned below Spring Drive,Grand Seiko and Credor.These watches are known for they remarkable finish and solid and robust movements.I own this wonderful Kinetic Perpetual model for one year and all I can say is - fantastic, without a doubt best value for the money!

Thanks. :D I can't wait until it arrives! I've never had a good watch before, and in fact, have never really wore watches before, period. I had some novelty ones when I was very young, but I'm sure I never wore a watch during my teenage years.

I'm really liking the look of the Breitlings, too - the dates on them look nice.
