Can I buy...
...either a sub or SD here in the UK for around £1000 second hand from a forum member - (hoping I could get the funds. of course)!
Preferably in good nick, with papers and so on... I do not want to sell a piece of something to find I can't flip it immediately for a watch otherwise I'll end up spending the money on something else! Sorry if posted in the wrong place! |

Not a chance. You won't find a Sub or a SD for that price not matter what its condition.

Its unlikely you will be able to get a Sub or SD at that price. I think you may have to double your budget to get something in working order.
For the avoidance of doubt, if anyone particularly wants to sell a Sub or SD for that kind of money, do let me know! |

You could get a decent SMP for half that though...

£1500 is the starting point for a ND sub.
£1000 will get you a couple of years old Speedy Pro (my choice ) or a SMP as has been said previously.

Here is as cheap as I've seen. I DON'T know the seller at all. Not endorsing him. You would have to do your own homework.
E series is from 1990 - $2500 http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...82#msg_3760975
