Seems strange for sure...they did not mention this to me while in Le Brasuss when I tried on this piece at HQ.

This is really interesting. Gabriel thanks for raising this, and I may need to apologise to the OP as well as according the website, 2912 is a manual wind version of the movement 14.9mm thick as seen on the 26387IO.00.D002 model in titanium, and 2933 is the automatic version 16.6mm thick titanium with white ceramic bezel 26387IO.00.D010.

Just to make matters even weirder, the platinum is showing on the website as with only the self-winding 2933 movement (model 26388) and bizarrely showing a 14.1mm case thickness.

Just looking at the cutaways of the 2912 and 2933 movements - I just can't see the winding rotor on the latter.

The 2897 movement (the self-winding peripheral rotor as seen in the carbon 50 edition) clearly shows the peripheral rotor.

I'd love someone to explain this all to me!!

Well Roger, the first thing to do is stop believing everything the manufacturers put on their website – often times it’s completely wrong because they’ve given the task to a halfwit with no interest in what it is that they’re uploading.

The two movements referenced are both hand-wound – there’s nothing automatic about the 2933.

Still not fussed about tourbillons, but I could possibly live with it in the 26550, although I’d prefer the case to be ceramic, not forged carbon.

It wouldn't be the first time AP have posted incorrect info on the website but it doesn't explain what Gabriel was told.

Well, that was the information they gave me. On top of that, funny thing happen was when i asked them to clarify the material of the screw of ROO and two different answer came from two watchmaker. One said it is WG while the other one said it was steel 😁
