Hi from USA
Hi
Just found this forum, I got my first Rolex a SS submariner date from Singapore 5 years ago during vacation. I'm in Singapore for vacation now and just brought 2 Rolex from the local AD yesterday. One TT ross gold Lady Datejust for my wife and SS Daytona white dial. I feel safer buying from AD in Singapore, but not sure the price is OK. As I paid premium price for the SS daytona, ... give up waiting from US AD. regards, finn |

Nice collection; welcome to TRF. Does LA mean Los Angeles or Louisiana? Sorry you had to pay a premium on your Daytona.

Finn, I trust that you will enjoy your stay here.
If you are not careful, you WILL end up with more than you already own. NICE watches!! Just curious....did the wifu get some other jewelry to go with her watch or were you able to ...ugh....disguise the price of the Daytona?? Stan. |

Hi Stan
I was surprise when I ask for the SS Daytona, he told me to take a seat and asked me black or white, He took out a black and white and I ask for another white to pick. I told him I don't mind paying premium but for reasonable price, and I'm getting one for my wife too. I told him I want the M series that have the blue hair spring and the prices of the two watches and I can pay cash. The deal was all done in 20min. Quote:

I always love the picture of the daytona with the second hand at the "12" o-clock position. With Rolex Coronet and second hand in alignment, it reminds me of Neptune's Trident. Very cool feature of the Daytona!!
Congratulations on a great purchase, welcome aboard and thanks for sharing your pics!!! |
