A beautiful day ....

It's a beautiful day here in Florida. I decided to post a picture of my watch, a URL to a song and share my thoughts for today.

On March 21st, I lost a great friend and co-worker Ken Morrison. He was such a fine example of how we all should live our life. Always thinking about others. While other chase material possessions, status and power Ken was making sacrifices for his family, friends and complete strangers. He was a Christian man that always put God first and I look forward to seeing him again oneday.

What I am trying to say is this .... cherish your precious moments on this earth. Always share with your family and friends how you feel. Say "I love you", say it often. Think about what you can do to help others. True happiness only comes from knowing our Lord Jesus and living life for others ... not yourself.

I will miss Ken. I sent this song, along with the flowers to his wife and kids. It's a reminder to us all who's really in charge of this universe. Do something good for someone today in honor of my friend .... Ken.

Not making light of you post, But I agree with "make your moments count".
I just found it ironic to read it today.
I am sitting at my desk working overtime ( tax season yippeee), beautiful sunny day here too. Well one partner took the day off to work in the garden, another employee doing who knows what today, & I'm stuck here working.
Tomorrow is family day, so looking forward to that.
My condolences...

I'm sorry for your loss, Mark. It's sounds like we can all benefit by taking a page from a man like Kens book. But, like you said, you will see him again, someday
