Scarcity of new Rolex models
So from what I can tell by reading this forum, the SS Daytona is very hard to come by. I'm looking to buy my first Rolex, but don't want to get the Rolex that everyone and their mother has (which considering it's a Rolex, will never be very true).
I'm looking at the TT Daytona with a white face, but that seems to be available everywhere. Love the meteorite dials, but those seem to jack the price up quickly. So...what current models/features of Rolex are in the hard-to-get category versus available-everywhere? Thanks! |

Milgauss GV certainly would fit into the tough to get category indeed.

Certainly two that come to mind are the SS Daytona (black and white dial) and the Milgauss GV. Don't over look models that have a "cult" following for want of a better phrase. I would put the Sea-Dweller and LV in that catagory. Good luck. |

No doubt that's definetly good advice...but while my tastes are pretty conservative, having a "unique" watch (as in one that few others have) adds a little to the pleasure! :)

Well just like it was said above. Not only a particular watch that "smiles" at you but which ever makes you happy regardless to who else or how many like it. The more popular ones are that way for a reason but any Rolex is fantastic.

I think that just having a Rolex is pretty unique....
It may not seem that way when you frequent a forum dedicated to the brand, but look around......most of the time you can count the Rolexes on one hand and have fingers left over.. You should always get the watch, or watches, that you like to wear and don't mind being seen with.....
