I assume the blro will take a year or so to settle down, like most rolex. Why get hit for no reason?

Unless patek drops a 5164r on you. The so help you god
Dammit!! So prophetic back in 2014. Luckily it's several months away from being available.

I wear my 5164 when i travel overseas. Perfect--- light and comfortable and under the radar. Switching time zones is so simple

Time enough to get the 5711 1R first.

Did a similar post and in the end, decided on the 5164. Tried on the BLRO this past weekend, and plan on adding it in the near future. Both excellent, useful references for frequent travelers in various time zones that fly under the radar.

I am sorry but there is no contest there. The Pepsi is a beautiful watch on its own but the other is only desirable because Patek is printed on the dial, otherwise it looks like a cheap hipermarket watch..

I used to own the 5164 and just had the opportunity to put on the Pepsi today. They are completely different watches only sharing the same price point and, yes a second time zone. The 5164 sits nicely on the wrist, the mechanism is really easy to use and the rubber strap is a big plus. It is discrete. But in my personal opinion, it does not justify it's price tag. On the other hand, the pepsi is made entirely of white gold, it is very very heavy on the wrist, and it is bling. The ceramic bezel and the middle polished links on the bracelet are attention seekers. But you get every dime worth of the white gold on your wrist. The second time zone is a little tedious to adjust. So to me, one is discrete, the other is bling, one is comfortable, the other is heavy, one is very easy to adjust the second time zone, the other more tedious, and the last one is very subjective, one, to me does not justify the price tag, the other is made entirely of white gold
