Is the bezel of new Subs ceramic?

I think I read somewhere that new submariners have ceramic bezels, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah, the new ones will be ceramic, but right now that is only in Solid golds, white and yellow. The white gold one is expected to hit the market in Sept-Oct. The gold one a few months later once Rolex has deplete their existing supply of black/yellow gold subs.

The Stainless Steel Sub is still the same, a Stainless bezel with an anodized aluminum insert. Expect it to be that way for at least the next couple of years.

The TT Sub uses an 18k gold Bezel with an anodized aluminum insert. There is speculation that this one will be upgraded to the Ceramic insert next year. But this speculation is all based on the GMT IIc progression.

The Non-date Sub was upgraded this year with a COSC dial.. This is the one to watch next year...Many think it will be discontinued....Personally, I don't...This one has been kept very true to the original Sub's, even to the point of retaining the original non-solid end link bracelet. This is such a simple change - and not done - that I think they will keep it in the line-up for as long as there is a market..
