I have thought about that... but I have zero chin!! I use the beard to make my face look the right shape! LOL

BTDT?

I had some great fun Internet dating a few years back. Had just separated from my ex.

Surprised me how many attractive women were keen to get it on fairly quickly - once they realised you were ok.

The best tactic is make them laugh and don't be too serious.......so I never talked about watches.
And if I were you - I would drop the subject unless she brings it up again. And then just pass comment and move the subject back to her.
Oh....and Internet dating is good for test driving a few models ;-)

We're having fun but we are not seriously suggesting he buy her a luxury watch after one date? There's a word for guys and gals who give it up so easily.

Congrats on a good first date.

I find that when two dog people get together there is immediately a mutual attraction. If there was a physical attraction and she was a diver and into watches etc that is all the better.

Not saying to put a ring on it or buy her a sub but sounds like a good person to share some time with.

First dates are just that. Folks are usually on excellent behavior. Things can turn on a dime.

Try for #2...but by no means let up on more #1 opptys with others.

And don't overthink things. Oops! Too late.

I've been told by quite a few ladies that laughter and intelligence are the new sexy. Sadly that pretty much excludes cavemen. Oh and invest in several nice shoes.

In addition to the watch suggestions perhaps a sandwich is in order, if she is that thin.

Sounds like a good date to start things. Dogs, cars, watches... people have gone far who have less in common.
