I Am Really Tempted

... to get this ...

It's a TTE (Think The Earth) WN-1 watch from Seiko. Very unique and a totally different way to tell time. WN-1 indicates time with an earth-dial (a dome-shaped 24-hour hand), a position indicator, and a minute hand. The hours are read counterclockwise one revolution per 24 hours, the minutes are read clockwise indicated by the red dot; there is no second hand.

Very interesting! Would you guys wear a watch like this?

Yeah, definitely not a watch for driving
I was thinking more of like an in-flight watch. Sitting by the window and looking at the clouds while lookin' at this watch too would be an "elevated" experience.

I would, cuz then I could walk around singing:

"I've got the whole world,

on my wrist,

I've got the whole world,

on my wrist."

Reminds me of a Panerai wrist compass.

It actually does, now that I forced myself to stare at it.

It also reminds me of the 'prize' in the first Men In Black film.

Interesting, but the domed crystal looks like trouble. It probably gets whacked against all sorts of things you've never even noticed in your everyday life. ;-) It might be worth getting just for the novelty. I have plenty of watches that I wear less than once a year, so why the heck not? :-)

I would wear a wrist band over it to protect it from scratches. But what a novelty though with the world on your wrist to tell time from a planetary aspect.
