Price Check - WG Daytona Black Face

Hi,

I think I want to sell my WG Daytona - Black Face. I am not wearing it as much as I used to. It is in great shape for a watch that has been worn about 50% of the time for 2 years or so. Here is the rub - I lost the box and papers in a move I know how dumb that is so no reason to beat me up over it.

WHat do you guys think it is worth and what is the best way to sell it?

Thanks.

In todays economy it is a hard time to sell and get what you would have gotten about a year ago.

It is quite evident by the number of the holy grail SS Daytonas that seem to becomeing available now as well as the drop in resale prices of the SS Daytona.

The best way to sell it is to a private party in your area.

If you don't need the cash to survive right now.....wait it out until things get back on track.

You can sell it the same way you would have otherwise, ebay, CL, watchsite, etc.
You will suffer a bit though without the box and papers. The absence makes some wary.

I think they are about $30.7k new at the AD, $24K new in the GM. I'd say low $18k to $19K at best w/o the papers, etc.

The box and papers are not that important if the watch is priced right.. If somebody wants the watch, they will pay the going rate.... They will try to use the "no box and papers" as an issue to pay less....but it is always up to the seller on if they will come down or not...

As far as value... depends on the year, condition, bracelet or strap etc...
