This 1675 GMT Master sets of an alarm...FAKE Clasps...!

Err buddies...at a glance this watch being listed by eBay Seller - srh11293 with (187 FB) ...

"Vintage Rolex GMT Master

1.8 mil serial
1570 Cal Movement
New Pepsi Bezel (original black is included!!!)
Green Presentation Box for the Rolex
Run well, though service is recommended, auto winder is OK, but hard to hand wind
Some wear to the date disk
Original Matte Tritium GMT dial
Very Very Rare GMT Jubilee Bracelet - note the '50' on the last link!!! - This band is IMPOSSIBLE to find.
Brand new Rolex hands"

The listing...sharp pictures...n the watch would seem to be decent n nice...until However...Orchi noticed these...problems.

The backcase has slightly damaged backcase teeth...n the Seller makes no mentions of it...

The Clasps on the bracelet...is FAKE...!!!

...SPOT ON Orchi...

...the knurled teeth are obvious in the pic's, and YES, the seller should state this in the listing. However, this in and of itself, does not justify reporting.

...good catch on the band. The potential buyer would think they are getting a 100% genuine Rollie. This JUSTIFIES reporting.

The damage to the caseback is clear enough from it's depiction in the photograph.

Why is the clasp fake?

I think Rolex has never stamped a crown to the right of that 62510H stamp. I may be wrong though. Other experts should chime in.

Err buddy Steve...very glad to see you here...

This kind of FAKE clasps have been around for ages...no thanks to the imitation racket from Taiwan...

1. On closer inspection...you would see that the REAL Rolex famed calligraphy differ from this one...

2. The existence of additional 'Coronet' on the clasp is a dead giveaway...
