GMT IIc = Ceramic Bezel Older GMT II = ??? Bezel

Is it plastic? or painted steel? Im confused.

Someone on E bay is offering "stick over" bezels for $10 I think if it looked decent it would be a great way to protect the original from getting beat up. I'm surprised someone has not come up with a clear bra automotive type product to stick over the bezel as a scratch protector. This type of product would also act as a very good crystal protector.
