Ross,

There are some knock offs and Italian copies of this old bracelet around. IMO the originals had a pronounced step in the link size and this one seems have more of a taper. It also seems to be in quite good condition for its age.
I am interested to hear what the experts have to say.

Thanks me too. I am looking for a genuine vintage band for my 1952 precision that now has a knock off oyster band on it. I would think this might be around that vintage if its real.
