Just Back from Las Vegas

Spent a week in Vegas and visited as many of the Rolex AD's as I could.

Was overwhelmed by Wynn's so many watches and such friendly and helpful staff - they had every model of the new Day Date II and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Wasn't sure about the DD II when it first came out but having seen some in the flesh, changing my mind, especially as they let me try on the platinum one. Just a shame that the dollar/pound exchange rate is so bad

My it weighed a ton!

Least helpful and ill-informed staff were in Ben Bridges in the Fashion Mall opposite Wynns.

I agree PRH, glad you had a fine visit

Did you go into the Wynn fine jewelry and watch boutique as well? No Rolex, but just about every thing else you could think of...

Also Tourneau's 17,000 ft2 store was amazing

I was in Vegas a few weeks back and swung by the Wynn. There was one watch store with some nice brands (Cartier, Panerai, etc), but no Rolexes. I asked if they sold Rolex and they told me that they have an entire store about 50 yards away dedicated to only Rolex. They weren't kidding! The sales girl there said that they are the largest Rolex store in the country with over 1500 pieces (most of which of course were locked away in the back). She added that Steve Wynn "is a big fan of Rolex."

No TRF member should ever leave Vegas without first stopping at the Wynn!

I agree as well... I believe Steve Wynn wears a platinum DD, (no ice or bling)

I guess he may be adding the new DD in platinum to his collection as well
