Icon11 Good Choice???

I have always adored nice watches but until recently could not afford the watches that I liked so much. I was originally interested in the Milgauss black dial - clear crystal, but decided to go with the SS GMT-IIc. Thoughts on my decision. I know it is personal taste but I am still interested in your opinion. Just incase this might factor in, I got the SS GMT-IIc for $6,075 including shipping and taxes do not apply. Thanks in advance for your input!

bigterpsfan, I think the GMT -IIc is one of the nices Rolexes I own. I love the GMT function. The Green on the dial - The size and weight of the watch is substantial. I love to look at the dial and I think the Bezel is amazing. I really think you did well.

You will find on the forum that there are many many GMT fans both old and new. I think it will be difficult to find too many people that do not think your first Rolex choice was excellent. Now, be careful - you will start to really want others... But, the GMT IIc is an awesome watch. I wear it the most as well.

Congratulations - I know it is a lot of money and a big purchase but, in the long run - you will be very glad you bought it... By the way, the price you got on it is amazing. Many of us paid much more!

Welcome to TRF!

I agree that GMT IIc (SS) is best all around Rolex --- wear with jeans or suit.
