As others have said, Nick is a stand up and solid gentleman who's reputation speaks for itself. I've worked with him and recommended others who are trying to source rare parts to him all with 100% solid feedback. If you are reading this thread don't be misled

First, I’m not directly saying this didn’t happen between the buyer and the seller.
Communication to every business transaction is key. 99% of the time when there’s s problem it can be identified as a communication issue. I find that often sellers are completely trustworthy yet for whatever reason there was a lapse in communication and the buyer is left unhappy. This happens, it’s part of life. What happens after the transaction is really what’s important. Again, I’m not making any judgement or comparison to this situation. My only thoughts are as a seller, over disclosure can go a long way. So for example when selling a jubilee that’s not “50” for a GMT, making crystal clear that the buyer understands it’s not Exactly original to that model. (I’ll say again, I’m not saying the seller didn’t do this. My thoughts are 100% hypothetical). It can be easy to say, sure it fits and be done with it. I know a lot of folks will say that the buyer has a responsibility to do his/her due diligence, which they do. But I think exceptional sellers assume their buyers are not experts and take the opportunity to make sure the buyer understands smaller details that may or may not be important. Just my 2 cent.
