Was 43mm SD red updated in 2018? And compares to updated 44mm DSSD ..

Question, I found myself looking at 43mm SD red vs the updated 44mm DSSD.

I tried on the DSSD before but bracelet was my complain.

But I have not tried on the 43mm red SD yet.

I do wonder if the 43mm red SD was updated this year? And the new 44mm DSSD looks like it resolved my complain about the bracelet.

I guess I would have to wait until the new 44mm DSSD is out to confirm.

What do you guys think about the 43mm red SD vs the new 44mm DSSD as in portion on the wrist, wear comfort?

I wear a DSSD and it's small on my 8.5'' wrist but it's very comfortable and i think the bracelet is perfect. I don't understand how the small changes Rolex has made will make any difference on the fit on your wrist. I also ear 48mm Breitling and it fits perfect! I think if your wrist is 7'' or smaller then 43mm plus size watches will not sit well on your wrist!

No change to SD43 as far as I know.

I doubt that there will be any significant difference in the actual wearing of the new DSSD when compared to the older model. Visual changes are significant to me. The bracelet looks cleaner as it is flush with the lugs and the clasp looks more proportionate to the size of the watch.

The SD43 was a 2017 release with the new movement. Don’t think any physical changes were made.

That's the first time I've heard anyone say that the DSSD is small.
