Damaging?

Will playing golf or packing a pack of cigs damage a sub. I have seen some posts that say do not play golf in an automatic watch but they are not near that fragile are they?

I played golf all summer with mine on. Actually, come to think of it, I pretty much do everything with it on. Still keeping excellent time.

I play golf all the time with my sub or daytona without any fear as I wear it on my left wrist. My right hand releases the mouse button on the backswing at just the right time...

I have a TT OP Date and have played golf most evenings and weekends (summer time) for the last 8 years. The movement is fine, runs about 1/4 of a second fast per day. However as I wear it above the glove it has to be fairly loose on the wrist. As a result, I have stretched one of the main centre link on the six o'clock side. This will need to be replaced at sometime.

Phil Mickelson wears his gold Day Date all the time when he plays and doesn't seem to have much of a problem.

I get behind my caged drumset and play for hours at a time. I thought for a moment what kind of damage may occur, but forgot about this whole nonsense. When I'm on my drums the adrenaline and dopamine kicks in, and destroying a Rolex seems very petty.

Big Phil I think is sponsored to wear a YG DJ with leather strap. I would have thought that Rolex send him a new one every year.

The damage to my bracelet was done by spending hours everyday on the practice ground hitting balls. If you are going to play once or twice a week you are probably ok.

No harm whatsoever playing golf, jogging, shooting guns or even god forbid getting your watch wet.I am 100% smoking cigs will not harm your watch in any.But smoking can seriously damage your health a lot more that it will ever damage any watch.
