Icon7 OUt with the OLD in with the NEW!

I wanted to share some pics of my new buddy with all the fellow members of TRF. I traded in my first Rolex for an upgrade. I spent one year with my first Rolex, a 1985 34mm Oyster Perpetual Stainless Steel with a simple stainless face with the plastic crystal. I consider myself a minimalist so this watch really fit my eye nicely.

Last weekend I picked up my new watch, It's a P serial 14270. It was a tuff choice for me, basically a toss up between a DJ and a Sub ND. So I decided to go with their love child. I love the dial of the Explorer! I think down the road I may still purchase a Sub, but we'll see, only time will tell.

When I go OLD SCHOOL for daily wear, I go for the '53 Bombay or UG chronometer w/ date in 18K

The Explorer is the consummate Rolex.

Its elegance goes with any attire, yet it's rugged enough for almost any activity.

Congratulations!
