Superocean Heritage II blue dial, or is it?

Hi everyone.

I just saw the SOH II at the AD today as I've been thinking of reacquiring one after I sold my SOH46 last year due to size. They had 2 models, the blue dial 42mm and the 46mm. I was surprised by the colour of the dial especially on the 42mm, it was a washed denim blue I didn't expect at all, compared to my old SOH46 where the blue was more vivid.

As anyone else noticed the change in colour to a more subdued or paler tinge?

Here's the closest picture I could find on the web.

You're right. There are two variations of blue now - Blue and Gun Blue. Blue is the old shade and gun blue is the new darker shade. If you're looking for the same shade of blue that was on the SOHI, it's on the new 44mm SOHII.
