I am just trying to show a modest collection of watches that mean alot to me.....

The Omega is very good value for money... paid about US$1500- .... that is not $$$$
Breitling is exceptional value on the used market......

The response I have gotten here is very surprising....

JJ Irani posts good posts and does not have to handle this sort of response....

My collection is fairly modest..... but with a strong Rolex overtone.... hence the posting....

Hence my amazement at the responses......
Simply put, it seems like your gloating. Personally, I come here to gain Rolex knowledge, send congrats for members new pieces, browse for sale sections, and have conversation with others that share my interests. I'm just saying, it seems like every post your putting a dollar figure on what you have and it gets a little annoying. Take it for what it is.

Archie has a nice box of watches...and he wants to participate in the best watch forum on the planet..

Let's take each post on it's own merits; comment if you like....But, let's not stir up a hornets nest because, somebody always gets stung..

Nice watches. Since my threads only get one or two responses, and are usually mine, I am jealous with your number of responses.

In all fairness we should all go easy on the guy. After all yesterday Archie spent 18hrs on TRF typing out his inventory. Fair dues !
Today he spends another 18 hrs typing out his favourite box of chocolates ? Tomorrow he'll spend 24 hrs reading all the comments that will convince him not to post anymore threads for at least a month !!!

That's TRF dedication 60 hrs out of 72 !!! We have a winner !!

Sorry Archie42 only having a laugh !!

If your going with a DD, might I suggest an Everose white dial fluted bezel with Romans? IMO, this is one snazzy piece!

I tried on the Rose Gold Daytona at a local Rolex AD this past week and I almost cried... especially when I had to take it off!

: cheers:
