Tt

i have a two-tone (rose gold - steel) patek philippe 5980AR and it is a beautiful watch. i am not quite convinced about the rolex TT watches because they have that strange stigma. esthetically, i oscillate. sometimes i like them, but when i see them all over the place on business class flights in the middle east i hate them:::)

I’ve always liked TT. I currently have my dad’s TT YM “on loan” because he never wore it. At this rate, he’s not getting it back!

I now have four all gold watches that I wear mostly with casual clothes. Rarely, does anyone ever comment; unless you are flaunting it or making an arrogant ass of yourself, you’re good. Mannerisms and behavior often dictate how one is judged by others.

Seriously who gives a f**k if your rocking a full YG sub or day date? All this nonsense on "I dont think I can pull it off" LOL

You got bigger problems in life if that is what you worry about over a watch. Own the watch.
Totally agree. It’s a Rolex, aside from those who really love Rolex’s there’s no differentiation in the real world from what I see.

Pretty much this... I have been wearing nice watches since the 70’s and I’m pretty sure I can actually count on the fingers of one hand how often someone else has noticed.

Never thought I could pull off full gold, but always loved the bark DD.

Nothing but compliments when I wear it, so I usually wear something else (funny how that works). I bought it for me, but it certainly attracts attention.

I understand 2-tone is more popular in the states than many European countries?

But the contrast of them with the MOP Dial won me over, though I doubt if I'll ever get another Watch with Diamonds
