I have seen these type of buckles with "Acier Inox"...

This one reads "plaqueg"

Any history on this?!

I cannot say where because my friend asked me not to tell but he made a mold and can make his own Rolex buckles. To my knowledge he hasn't made many and does not do ebay. Someone who can make their molds can make this type stuff sometimes mirror imaged.
Shame as it is.

...the buckle is COUNTERFEIT.

...the hallmarks are quite obviously LASER ETCHED as opposed to being STAMPED.

...additionally, the "plaqueg" stands for gold plated.

...this buckle is OBVIOUSLY NOT gold plated. The seller even identifies the metal as stainless steel.

...lady CASPER will be visiting this one.
