YM would not be considered a dress watch, it's a sports watch........a Cellini would be considered a dress watch.....some people use Datejust or Day-Date as their dress watch to an extent

however, if you would like a traditional dress watch, you would look for examples like PP Calatrava, ALS Saxonia, JLC Ultra Thin

Very very nice ref. but like others said large numbers and rotating bezel is not a dress watch.

Changing title to "Sporty Dress Watch". We are from the south so it should work.

Gold can still fly for a dress watch. Heck I thought I had a perfect dress watch with the 5205G, but after reading 404's explanation that certainly doesn't qualify :D

In my opinion a 116618LN/LB can still be considered a dress watch.

My ideal dress watch would be - WG, diamond in bezels or dial, MOP.

Personally I love it. I'm a sucker for MOP dials and serti dials. Not a dress piece strictly speaking but does it even matter? It's such a fabulous piece of jewelry.

Congratulations OP, beautiful addition! They're all dress watches, and none of them are dress watches. Who cares, you are retired! Do they all look good wearing jeans, khakis or shorts?... yes! Will you look down at your wrist and smile? I would!

Thank you for your service - call that watch whatever you want to and wear it however you want. You earned it. Congrats and enjoy.
