I am not much of a Panerai fan. But it seems a lot of my friends are. I can tell you for sure that the Rolex will keep much better time - my watch is the reference. One of the three watches in the pictures is so bad that my friend doesn't even bother setting it.

So to me it's a no brainer - go Rolex!
