Help please

I am not up to speed on Rolex boxes so I thought before I put it on ebay I'd ask in here if it is legit and worth the trouble of listing it.
In advance thanks for any help. I truly appreciate it. Oh and feel free to chuckle if it is a fugasi.
Oh and it had an old Oyster booklet in it. Laugh all you want. I figure it is ok to be iggnorant when I don't know for sure.

...FUGASI????? I like that.

...an you throw up ONE pic of the bottom of the box???

...as it stands, it looks good to me, unless I am missing something.

...Springer and Orchi are the Rolex box gurus and will be along sometime.

Stan.

Box is 100% good. These 80's USA boxes never had a # printed on the bottom, so no need for bottom pic unless you want to show its condition, good or bad. Also note its worth more with its original gold bottom and green top outer box. Good luck with your sale Jim.

Thanks wolfgang and Stan, I found an outer box and added it's picture to the thread.
All help I am grateful for. Still trying to figure out if it is worth selling or using to put screws in, Lord knows I got enough loose ones!

Jim, your box is the first generation early 1980's box, with the more pronounced leather grain finish. Made from around 1980 to 1984. If you take out the center section of the inner box and look on the bottom, it should read Bufkor, made in the USA.

The outer box you depicted was used from the period of 1989 to around 1993 and is not correct for your inner box. This outer box came with a much smaller green box with a green, vinyl-coated pillow in the center of the box. The vinyl is notorious for cracking.

Thanks John, Wolfgang and Stan,
The outer box is one I have kept watch straps, pins etc in for years. The bottom of the center piece does say Bufkor, made in the USA.
Thanks again for the help,
Jim

John, that has to be the understatement of the day. My N serial 16613 TT Sub is as complete a package as can be found, with 2 exceptions. I don't have the original sales invoice, or what used to be the vinyl covering on the pillow. It turned into flakes long ago and took me ages to clean out of the box.
