Dj 41 rhodium band attachment ?

When I was trying to take the jubilee band off I noticed it has a new way of connecting so you can’t push one side of the spring bar in while pressing upward to remove . you have to push the pins both and pull straight out . I didn’t see a topic on this but is this the case with a lot of the new roles watches ?

The manufacturing tolerances are tight and this has been a requirement for some time.
