SS Sky-Dweller Date Change

I've never seen a Rolex change right at midnight; the SkyD is an awesome watch and changes just about the same as the other Rolexes I own (with the obvious exception on non-date ones). I'm curious if anyone on the forum has one that changes exactly at midnight? If so can you provide a video?

The miracle at midnight is complete bullshit. LOL - be happy yours channges at 40 seconds. All mine currently change around 00:01 and my GMT2c changes around 00:04

NONE of my Rolex's change at midnight and the DD40 initially had problems changing at 1.30am!!!!

I’ve had many Rolex’s and accepted that the date change was between midnight and 10 past but reading the marketing on their website, thought that the 9001 changed at the stroke of midnight; silly me!

My only changes date at 12 noon.
When should I set the date to come back to normal?

Run the hands 12 hours forward, and then you'll be good.

Well, it may be a day fast, so run the date back by a day. But you should have midnight and noon correct.

If my watch stops, I set the date to the previous day, then run the hands forward until you get the date change, then you know it's midnight. Then set time accordingly.

My SD changes date 3 minutes after midnight, but date and month change is simultaneous.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine with Rolex watches. Both my GMTs change at about 1 minute past midnight....

What I never understood is how Rolex claims to have +2/-2 second accuracy when the watch clearly isn't telling an accurate date/time once per day.... if we want to get technical date watches are inaccurately representing the date/time when this occurs.

I love Rolex, but to me this fault (yes, I'll call it that) is laughable. The date should change right at 12:00 (+2/-2 seconds) due to Rolex accuracy claims.

I'm happy to finally have an accurate Rolex (Daytona with no date) :-)

Mine changed on December 1st at 00:02:00. The date here is changing from 30th to the 1st, taken in slow motion. Very cool to see in action. I’m not at all upset the date changed 2 minutes late. I doubt I’d be staring at it every month change.
