It's a 8 digit random serial number and it can start with any letter or number.
The 2007 serial number has 7 digits so the guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

Looks like a random serial number that just happens to start with a Z. You can tell because if it were a true “Z serial” there would not be another alpha character in it and the full serial would be “Z + 6 digits” rather than “z + 7 digits”

This watch is clearly a “random serial”

Hope this helps.

I'm pretty confused here; for a card to be valid it needs to things 1) the date of sale and 2) the AD Name. What does the date of sale say on the card. I'd assume that is close to the manufactured date give the desirability of Subs lately. Now exactly what is the emergency? Did you need a Z serial watch? Random would be newer and potentially much newer.

I would be far more interested in validating a watch rather than a card.

As stated the buyer does not know what he is talking about or buying.

Another sadly uninformed buyer. He probably read that somewhere on the Internet.

Worry not, OP. Or, if you are still worried, send the watch to RSC to have it serviced. That will make it much easier to sell and you can be secure knowing that the watch is real.
