here's a giant nba player wearing 2 DD40s that look like a "woman's watch" on him instead of wearing 44m APs. i think its all about personal preference. yes that watch looks small on you but so will a dj41, doesn't mean you should be wearing DSSDs though. also i think dj's with jubilee/and day dates still look good if they're small on you because of the presence of the bracelet

It's a ref 116759 SARU GMT. White gold using rubies, sapphires & diamonds for the bezel, diamonds on the lugs, etc.

It’s kind of small, but the diamond bezel gives it more presence than just its size. It’s a great piece

The 36mm looks fine. A 40-41mm would be OK too. Remember there were stocky people before Rolex even thought about a 41mm DJ.

Since you asked, I’m a big fan of the 36mm but I think it’s on the small side for your wrist. It looks good on you though.
As many have stated, it’s your comfort level that matters.

PG Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers. Watch looks fine on him IMHO.

yup i 100% agree, but feel like a lot of people would say its pretty small, especially the one on the right without a diamond bezel to make it look bigger, that's why i put woman's watch in quotes lol

great player too but i hate philly

I don't think it looks small. As a general observation, I rarely see a watch photo on this forum that to me looks too small, I often see ones that look too big, sometimes laughably so. YMMV

Yes it's a hefty 40mm watch. The watches that Stallone is famous for wearing are the Panerais which he started wearing back in '93. He has made them famous. They're quite a bit larger than 40mm.

And yes, OP the watch does look way to small because your arms are very beefy. These guys posting pics of their 36mm watches on their 7 inch wrists and saying, "yeah looks good, I do the same thing" are missing the point completely. It has to do with the size of the forearm and size of your frame-- both are large. And the 36 mm watch with diamonds on the bezel looks too small for you -- by a lot -- regardless of how "classic" some people say a 36mm watch is. On you, it looks like you are wearing a women's watch because of your large frame.
Well said....

I think the answer to, "Is this watch too big?" depends on the questioner's intended audience. If the audience appears in the mirror each morning, 36mm will be perfect (and likely the only perfect item in the morning reflection). If the audience is waiting outside the bathroom, then a maxed-out eye-catcher will be believed better.

36mm is a great size and I don’t think it looks small on you, but if you’re asking, it most likely means in your opinion its too small but you have a hard time saying goodbye to it.
