Hi from UK
Hi chaps
Looking forward to learning stuff on here about Rolex Subs. My grandma has left me some cash in her will and I thought I would go and buy a black dial Submariner from my local jeweller in Liverpool. I'd always wanted one but never had that kind of cash for a watch Got to be easy surely! How wrong ha ha. Anyway I am going to go second hand and want a ceramic bezel one but was going to read up about the advantage and disadvantage of box and papers and where you can buy these second hand watches from. Thanks in advance guys Simon |

Hi from UK
Welcome to TRF. If buying second hand as your first Rolex it might be worth paying a little more and being 100% confident of the seller vs. someone unknown online etc.
A waitlist shouldn’t be so long at an AD though for a sub, so a bit of patience here may be the best route to go.

Got the Sub and wear it daily. Love it although I must confess it doesn't feel like I have something worth that much on my arm! :)

Welcome to TRF. Are you planning on buying a Submariner from Boodles, by any chance? I bought mine from them back in 1991, I can still remember the day. Good luck with your research and the hunt. |

Boodles in Liverpool no longer sell Rolex, but they do sell Patek.
