Quickest/longest return from an official Rolex Service?
Hi, am i the only one who is impatient. Sent my gold DD off 3 weeks this Friday for an official service and it is killing me! I don't know why i am so impatient.
What is the quickest time or longest you have experienced with an official service? I am for sure getting a second watch now. Either a blue face Sky D or the Hulk. |

I believe that Dr. Tom got his Platona back in a hurry.

Only time I sent my watch in it took 6-7 weeks if I remember correctly. Door to door

When I sent my Platinum DD I was told 6-8 weeks because the platinum was harder to refinish. I got it back in just under 5 weeks.

It takes a Max average of 2 months I think. My Explorer II took exactly the same thing. I suggest you get a new one asap or save for it since your impatient.

11 days was the fastest, 2-3 weeks the average (Hong Kong RSC).

SHORTEST: LVC into RSC Beverly Hills for white dust particle under crystal (where that came from, who knows). That one they fixed no cost w/o warranty card and pressure checked and returned to me 4 hours later (sane day).
LONGEST: SD and white Milgauss went to RSC Beverly Hills last year for normal service, which I thought I authorized in person when I dropped them based on quote, but didn’t realize they emailed to me for written authorization (but went to spam filter). I called RSC 6 weeks later asking about timing. They said they were still waiting on my written authorization to start work. What?!? Sure enough, my spam folder had their written quote, which I sent back approved and they said they would try to rush, but it still took 4 weeks to get the call to come pick them up. In total - 10 weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I sent my Explorer II direct to RSC in NYC as it was running way too fast. Got it back in 3 weeks. Runs at +1s per day.

Dropped my 116618 LN Submariner off in person at the Dallas RSC for its first service after 9 uneventful years of wear. Watch came back running beautifully and looking brand new right at 4 weeks delivered.
I had an Oysterquartz Day-Date 19018 that needed service and was tied up at the New York RSC for almost 3 months. Watch was perfect when returned. I suspect the relative rarity of that quartz movement could be to blame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for this guys, so best case is 4 weeks, worst is 7.
I went with Rolex SC and not the AD due to wanting the warranty card and pouch! Appt they could have done it a few weeks sooner. |

My wife's DJ took just 3.5 weeks at RSC in NYC. Pretty basic service with a gold crown replacement.
It probably helped that we dropped it off there. |

I sent my Milgauss in for service to Dallas and Rolex received it 11/13/18. Rolex sent it back on 12/10/19. Excellent communication throughout the process. Cost was $755 +$55 S/H
I feel the OP's pain at the same time my Milgauss stopped running and needed service I was having new hands and Day-date wheels put in my DD (which took months to get), and I had to wear my old 16014 (my first and not my style anymore). |

9 weeks quoted with an actual 8 week turn around.
That's here in OZ. I have had shorter times overseas. |

About 3 weeks for my Daytona, which the AD sent to the RSC near Philly.
