Datejust 41 Purchase.....

Hi,

I will be purchasing a brand new Datejust 41, Oyster Strap, Fluted Bezel in a couple of weeks in Dubai - where I reside.

I have got the price from a couple of stores and its the same, (I personally don't think so) but my fiance' suggested buying it from the store at the Burj Al Arab, as if I ever want to sell it in the future it may be easier to sell / be more attractive to someone due to it being bought from the Burj and paper work etc from there.

As I say, I don't think so, but wondered if people have any idea buying from an iconic location will make it more appealing / hold slightly more value?

I wouldn’t think it would make any difference at all, but obviously I don’t know the market where you are and what is sought after etc.

I personally wouldn’t care about the location of the store; but since all the prices are the same, what is holding you back from buying it at the Burj?

Separately, you might be able to get a discount on DJ41 (at least in my location, I am able to), so you should try asking for that.

Doubt it would make a difference, but if it's the same price, might as well buy it from the Burj so she'll leave you alone

Thanks so far......dont worry the prices I have been quoted include a nice discount ;o)

And yes, why not buy from the Burj I guess....just the store at another Mall is larger and nicer!

Don't forget you can get another 5% off if you get a 'friend' to claim the Vat back while leaving the country. They havent quite worked out the flaws in that one just yet.
