Service part number for 5711/1a bracelet

Hi All,

Anyone know the service part number for 5711/1a (steel) bracelet, or is it the same as the original bracelet shipped with the watch from new.

Second question, is it possable to tell if a SS 5711 has had the bracelet replaced.

Thanks in advance.

I guess the bracelet ref is A384EBP. I doubt you could tell a bracelet was replaced (maybe if the case looks polished a few times and lost its sharpness & the overall age of the watch could be a indicator?)

Is this to replace the ‘rusty’ bracelet? Is your AD now dealing with this for you?
I’m sure it is impossible to tell if a bracelet has been changed.

Sort of, the option has not been offered, but it's not going so well with PP .

I m sure the service bracelet ,new bracelet all the same and i m sure noone can tell if it was replaced except
-older Nautilus which came with screw fitted links isn t correct with the new pin fitted bracelet.
-or as Zahain said if big difference in the polishing

BTW very much interested what PP told you regarding the rust ,is it reoccured?

I know it was possible to tell when a SS 5711 had one link replaced (that had been ordered in new from the factory) as the polishing / color was ever so slightly different. The same may well be true if you have the whole bracelet replaced (as discussed in greater detail in your rust thread I believe).

Will it be different enough for somebody to notice who doesn't know about the replacement? I wouldn't hope so, but you may notice the difference.

Personally I had replaced the SS case on an IWC pilots watch by IWC after a major mishap when a hike turned into a climb. The polish / color was different from the old case and bracelet and the difference was large enough that anybody might notice (old one had a warm / yellowish tone, new one more cold / blueish). No big deal as it is may daily beater but today I would rather try laser filling than having the case replaced.

Not going well with Patek in what way? If there is an issue they will resolve it for you.

Wow I can't believe how hard it is to find any info on the 5711 bracelet, dam Google. I must have the only 5711 bracelet in the world with a part number stamped on it.

So what is going on with your watch? You started this thread about “deteriorating patek quality” and it seems we have had radio silence since?

Sorry, for the radio silence. I never realised when I started that thread that the rust issue was unique to me. Now I know that, I feel it is only proper and fair to allow Patek Philippe some time to fully investigate the issue without the scrutiny and speculation of this public forum. I will be updating the case once the issue is resolved.

P.S. I would post this on that thread, but I don’t want to bump the thread back into the lime light just yet.

No need to apologize and please dont think I was trying to bully you into answering. I was just curious what the findings were. I hope it all works out my friend
