Nautilus 5711 or Aquanaut 5167/a & Daytona 116500
Hypothetical question. which side would you rather have?
(relatively similar value) PP Nautilus 5711 blue or PP Aquanaut 5167/a (black) and a 116500 Daytona (white)

Hype and price aside I actually like the aquanaut the most. So light and comfortable on a rubber strap. Perfect modern day HH sport watch. The daytona would make it an even easier decision.

I prefer having two awesome pieces to wear vs. a single one, so I'd go Daytona and Aquanaut. I also love the 5167, so that helps too

I rather have to own? to flip?
With the current street price, I would be buying VC, ALS all day long. At list price and if I can't sell it, I would be buying a VC. At list price for flip, then 5711. LOL

I hesitated and then finally chose 2 and surprised to see it leading by 2 to 1! Thought everyone loved the Nautilus, must be just hype.

I just love the idea of having two. I love the Daytona and the 5711 and see the aquanaut as a reasonable substitute for a 5711 to have a watch with a date to pair with the Daytona. If you said a 5712 it would be harder.

116500 for sure, its classic and sporty suitable for every different events. 5711 is a little too formal for me to wear while playing tennis. I almost got robbed at LA for wearing my 5711. I guess the watch is too expensive to wear daily.

Neither, the Aquanaut and SS Daytona are severely overrated for their current market prices -- take it from me, someone who owns both. For $75k (approx. grey market value of a 5711 blue based on what I've seen), get an OF Daytona, a 5230, and take a cool vacation with the remaining $15k.

I agree. I own both as well. Just curious which of the 2 options people would prefer, independent of price or market value, since they are similar now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
