Which do you like more 5712a or 5712r?
Figure this be a fun poll. I have both but I can’t tell which one I like more...which is your preference.

Tough choice! PP RG is done so well, and it looks especially good on that brown strap. I think I’d choose another reference first before the 5712, if I were buying RG on leather. The 5712 1a style lends itself well to the bracelet...IMO
No wrong or right in this case, just personal preference. |

SS 1A no contest. I remember in my quest for one, I got a few calls for the R in early 2018 from ADs I had merely called and not visited in person. They were easy passes for me, as a Nauti to me has to be on bracelet. Though it does pain me to see what they go for right now!

I love my 1A and prefer it even though the R is very nicely done.

I was very close to buying the R a couple of years ago. Glad I waited and bought the 5712/1A. Nautilus looks best on bracelet. One day Patek will release a 5712/1R and it will be killer.

I just like the usability of bracelet. More water proofing, of sorts

SS for me, love the vibrant blue dial of the 5740 more so the extra dial detail really works here, whereas I found the RG dial to be more grey than brown, which I'd prefer with RG.

It’s so easy to vote when you see 5712/1A as the first option: you don’t have to look any further Having said that, the 5712R is also beautiful.

Both have its pluses and minus. I do think 5712a is more authentic genta but the R is just so we’ll executed

For a formal event, the 5712r. For everything else, the 5712/1a.
