hmm this means that AP ROOs are quite robust. In reality, it seem that watch do not need to withstand 50g of shock in order to strap on to play tennis. Marketing ploy from RM exposed.

Wawrinka plays the single back hand compared to Nadals double back hand though...
The double hand is everything, I played tennis many years and had a double hand, believe me the speed is almost as fast as a any other tennis move, give the AP to Nadal and we'll see, you know how many prototypes they broke, never the movement but the glass came off and things like that, the double back gives a huge amount of G's, the AP won't take it

Sorry but that's not right :)... Serena plays (not so girly) double backhand with her AP on the wrist... and nothing falls off... not glass, not diamonds :)

Sorry, but that's not right... I know 100% for Djokovic, and I'm pretty positive that Messi and Lebron didn't came to AP first...

And there is nothing "pridely" if you say YES to everyone that approach you :)... not for girl or watch company :)... too many brand ambassadors and golfers on the list to say "YES" to them... and major number of them are far from WIS... they are just a logo on the polo shirt and $ contract...

Thank you all for your comments. Now, it is official:

Both Serena and Stan are indeed AP ‘ambassadors’ and he wore the SS 2014 grey themes on rubber. I was surprised, as I thought that the metal looked TI and that a brand ambassador would not wear the watch in a non-standard configuration. And this comes from an owner of the very same piece who sometimes does the same strap change :-)

Def agree its with the rubber strap. Awesome matches and watches..

What does a friend of the brand mean as opposed to an Ambassador?

Forged Carbon is even lighter than Ceramic.
And yes, you are EXACTLY correct about the ability to withstand shock being more important than the weight!
