He said this particular lanyard was strictly for VIP's at Rolex events and explained that unlike most lanyards you can find where the name and crown is printed, this lanyard has the name and crown embroidered. I must say, the quality is splendid.

Never been invited to an event...although I have been asked to leave the store.

Rolex Ambassadors get paid (handsomely) to represent the brand ie; RF's $15M endorsement deal.

EC is not an official Ambassador.
