That’s how my GMT II is configured. Comfortable fit is the most important thing.

LOL. You would have a deformed wrist if you have your watch case and clasp both centered on your wrist, with same number of links on either side!

It's sized correctly. 6 side should be shorter to allow clasp to sit properly.

Position the watch head where you like it and carefully open the clasp keeping the inner clasp in position against your wrist. Note whether the inner Rolex engraved clasp is centered on your wrist. 6 o'clock links position it for center. 12 o'clock links adjust for tightness.

The links look ok to me.
As has been said there are usually less links on the 6 o’clock side. The clasp should not necessarily be centred on your wrist it should bias towards the 6 o’clock side. This helps to prevent the watch head from rotating on your wrist.

I have a gold sub and that my bracelet is configured with a different number of links on each side. Yours looks backwards to me.
There should be one less link on the 12 o'clock side of the watch if that delivers the proper fit for your wrist (glidelock approximately in the center). Maybe there isn't a standard way to do this, but my AD has always had more links on the 6 o'clock side |

I always have less links on my 6 o clock side than my 12 o clock side.
As many people have commented, the fact that it's uneven is irrelevant. Only what matters is that the watch and clasp are aligned correctly on your wrist when you're wearing it. |

Exactly, if the clasp ends up in the middle of your wrist, it does not matter how many links are on either side. My Exp I same thing.

I would prefer to put an entire link in the 6 side, because I like to see more bracelet, but that is me.

Try taking out bith 1/2 links and adding 1 while link to the 6oclock side for a 4x5 setup which should be the same size but with clasp sitting more even. That however may not make it sit right ON YOUR wrist though.

Defineltey bothers me. TECHNICALLY, the watch I guess according to my ad needs to be shorter on. The 6 o’clock side, but I always even if up.
Being that it’s a glide lock should allow you more wiggle room with configuration. It would hugely annoy me. Put a link in 6, remove one at 12. Play with the glide lock (Goldilocks) until it’s “just right” Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

OP
Despite what some on here would (wrongly) have you believe, what matters is that the watch sits correctly on your wrist and is comfortable. You size a bracelet for positioning of the watch head and clasp using the six o'clock side only. The 12 o'clock side is then adjusted to make the bracelet tighter or looser. That is all. From the picture you have posted, three full and one half link on the 6 o'clock side looks to be correct for you. Personally I would add another link to the 12 o'clock side to give you more adjustment in the glidelock should your wrist expand. You wear your watch on your wrist. You do not walk around holding the watch head with the bracelet dangling below. If it looks good on the wrist and is comfortable then that is the correct bracelet adjustment for you.

Mine was similar to that when I got it. It drove me crazy. Its all sorted out now (the Jeweler moved a few links around etc.). It should wear how YOU want it to wear. If it's not comfortable, you wont enjoy it and it's frankly pointless. This is an easy fix. Good luck and enjoy your watch!

I removed a permanent link from two 78790 bracelets, one for a 14270 and one for a 16570 so that theyd fit properly. The setting is similar to how yours presents and the clasp is centered on the wrist. If it fits properly, why change it.

What matters is if it’s centered when it’s on your wrist.
This may be a good time to buy the baseline hobbyists watch tools, so you can do this stuff yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So I held both, the head and inner blade centered on my wrist, and sure enough the inner blade was off centered so I swapped 1 link from the 6 o'clock position to the 12 o'clock position. Now my watch head doesn't try to move at all to the outside of my (left wrist) and it stays exactly centered. This was the best advise and IME the best and only way to adjust your bracelet for the correct fit, hands down! I think too many people aim to center the clasp, when it's not the clasp that needs to be centered, but both, the inner blade and watch head which need centering, then adjusted accordingly. I've already done 2 of my watches this way and will do the other 2 tomorrow. Best reply on the thread! Thank you very much.

Even it up if possible. If you are forced to have more on one side than the other always do less on the six side.

Even after removing 1 link from the 6 to 12 o'clock side I still have less links on the 6 o'clock side.

I counted 3 1/2 at 6 o'clock + 5 at 12 o'clock = 8 1/2 total links. Try moving one full link from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock side and the 1/2 link that is now at 6 o'clock, move to 12 o'clock side. That should give you a more centered, more proportionate 4 + 4 1/2 (8 1/2 total) bracelet configuration.

Would this bracelet bother you?
I appreciate the many responses
Great discussion What I have discovered is that the hulk is actually “sized” correctly The no date is “not” What I have also learned is I have been wearing both watches too loose and below the wrist bone. Which is really not how I should have worn them. Either way I appreciate the input and while it’s such a small thing I feel better with how I am wearing both my pieces!!!
