Would this bracelet bother you?

Some time ago I bought my 166610lv from my Ad, they sized up the bracelet and I went off with it. At the time I noticed it didn’t feel quite right but could not figure out what it was.

Recently I noticed I have one less link on one side then the other.

When I looked back at my box and papers I noticed they took 4 total links off, two from each side in pairs by the way.
So I can reasonably assume they didn’t make the bracelet uneven.

This small little link here is the oddball link I’m wondering if I should add one full link to this side and remove the baby link. Or just add one full size link to make it even.

Is my ocd kicking in?
Probably.

What I can say is that my 116610lv wears slightly different from my 114060.
It’s not really a bad thing.

if you even it up with big links the watch won’t fit your wrist correctly, your AD sized it right and sometimes that means an uneven configuration.

Looks good to me. Think about it this way - you want the watch head to be centered. There are almost infinite sizes of wrists, but only a certain amount of links with defined sizes. The bracelet is going to look this way to fit your wrist and have the head centered.

You should always have fewer links on the 6 side than on the 12 side.

As long as the bracelet fits snug the way I like, how the bracelet looks (even/uneven) does not matter to me.

Typically with oysters I will have 4 links on the 6 o’clock side and 5 links on the 12

As long as the clasp isn’t in a weird position and fits good on and centered on the posterior portion of your wrist

I would experiment adding a link to the shorter side and adjusting the glidelock clasp to offset and provide final adjustment.

Definitely sized wrong and must be unbalanced on your wrist. Take it to an AD and let them resize it. That’s what I’d do.

I would suggest you even it up, otherwise it would not sit right on your wrist.

Use the glidelock to micro adjust.

That’s correct for a < 6.5” wrist. Three links plus the half link on the 6 o’clock side should center the clasp on the wrist. That’s my Sea-Dweller setup (had to buy the 1/2 link).

I have a 7-3/4" round wrist and no links removed from my OP39, as well as it being adjusted to 2nd to last micro hole on the clasp for the winter season. In the summer season, I'll definitely be moving it to the last micro adjustment hole.

My Polar was AD sized when I bought it. The offset clasp in the OP's pictures looks a lot like mine. It fits and wears so comfortably that I'm not inclined to fiddle with it, although it does look odd when I take it off.

I wouldn’t like having the glidelock link sticking all the way out like that. I’d move that in so there’s a notch or two visible then add a link to the 6:00 side.

People talking about having teh clasp cenetered, but the objective it to have the watch face cenetered. Does the watch face sit centered on your wrist? They got mine right at the AD, but I have had to adjust some of my other watches to get them to sit right, but ultimately the 6 o'clock is always shorter that the 12 o'clock band.

It's sized as a Sub should be, I use 6 and 4.

If you even the links the clasp is not centered and the watch head will not sit nicely on the wrist.

It's correct, play around with the glide lock if you want to try to balance out the links

Same here, I always size my bracelets shorter on the 6 O’clock side...otherwise the clasp doesn’t sit correctly centred when wearing.

My year 2010 14060M Sub has 5 links on the "6" side and "3" (WHAT!!!) links on the "12" side.

This is because it still has the extension pieces on it.

So my clasp is "canted" opposite to yours, and also at VERY much more of a severe angle. The clasp rides up pretty high on the far side of my arm bone, what with only 3 links on that side.

The watch head position is no different than any of my other watches.

BUT . . . it does fit me comfortably and I am leaving it like that because I don't want it messed with. It just works for me.

BTW my arm is small, about 6.5" to 6.75" and luckily the links combinations give me a perfect fit. No notice of issues except visually it looks mighty weird.

That would drive me insane, like padded room insane. Swap the half link from the 6 with a full from the 12 and run the glide lock in a few clicks and you’ll be good to go.

I got 7 on 12 o’clock and 5 on 6 o’clock. Fits great.
