Dallas RSC via USPS Registered Mail taking forever...

Prior to the pandemic it took from March 6 - March 10 to send my watch to Dallas RSC registered USPS. It is/was very fast. Got past all the evaluations and approvals and then the world farted. Still patiently waiting for its return.

Finally delivered to RSC (June 4). My advice to anyone that has it 'stuck in delivery' is to call the post office and request a 'redelivery'. After I called it got delivered in less than 24 hours to RSC from the Dallas PO. Also, I had to call RSC to confirm it was received ...USPS never updated the tracking to read delivered.

FYI Everyone: Sent my Rolllie off on May 19th USPS Registered/insured
It arrived May 28th
On June 4th got call from RSC Dallas that repairs are covered under warranty.

Hopefully, this detailed timeline helps TRF'ers reading this thread.

PS: Today will head to AD and drop off the new-ish OMEGA (November 2019) as it seems to have a tangled winding spring (my guess). So let's see how OMEGA does.

Reviving an old thread here…

I sent my watch to the Dallas service center via registered mail per Rolex instructions. It had a delivery date for tomorrow Saturday by 9pm.

Now, the watch says it was “delivered to agent for final delivery” today (Friday)

Does anyone know what this means? I’ve tried searching with no luck.

As a side note, the package did have a delivery confirmation service added when it was shipped. Not sure if this would have affected anything with their registered mail delivery …

RSC is closed until the 29th due to the Thanksgiving holiday. I’m guessing the agent is referring to a postal carrier. It’ll probably say exemption later and be rescheduled for Monday.

Always happy to help. Sent something to RSC a bit back, Delivered To Agent means they have it. It takes a few days, perhaps week given holiday weekend for their computer to show it. You're fine

Service time is about six weeks.
