My pick is rhodium, but I have not seen both side by side in person. What else is in your collection? That may help you decide which is better for you :)

Why this didn't leave the factory with a red date wheel drives me nuts. This is the perfect mod.

I chose blue because I had an Omega SM300 with the slate/grey dial - but both are excellent.

Rhodium.

I have the original platinum dial YM, so I’m partial to that color scheme. “Back in the day” I saw a rhodium dial YM in a dealer display case, and it totally caught my eye. It is a truly striking watch.

It also has a very interesting and unique shade of blue on its second hand and dial script, which I love.

I like that Rolex has been taking stylistic and color risks with the YM that it hasn’t with the SS Sub, eg ladies’ size (whereas Tudor had a ladies’ size Sub), the platinum and rhodium dials, and then the now-famous Oysterflex.

If you have any other blue dials - - why not add a Rhodium for variety.

I got married on Tuesday and brought my entire Watch collection since I couldn’t decide which to wear. 5 minutes before I had to commit I chose this one. No regrets (on all counts)
