That would be 365 or maybe 366?

Edit: I just spotted your subsequent post. That's brave.

Clear out and consolidation.......

I got 5 watches now. I’m not adding another unless I subtract one or two.

Solid collection. Have you considered adding a splash of red or green there. Maybe a white dial at least?

I currently have 6 Rolexes and a Patek. When I got the call from AD for the Patek, I promised myself I’d move at least one watch just to keep my collection manageable.

I hemmed and hawed and played the mental game ‘if you had to get rid of one…’ In the end my wife pointed out the reason I’m having such a hard time is because I have the ones I want. She was right so for now I’m happy with my rotation.

Actually my Casioak is the one I want to replace…I’ve owned 2 over the years for gym, travel to places I’d rather not wear a Rolex…really don’t care for it so I’m looking for something to replace it’s use function which keeps me in the hunt.

I try not to take myself or my watch collection to seriously and I focus on having fun and wearing my watches. In the end, meaning my end, I doubt it makes a difference.

⬆️⬆️⬆️ Agreed and well said!
Have gone up and down….consolidation then building back again, consolidation then building back again. Just enjoying the journey and wearing what I like, and what fits my lifestyle at this point in my life.
What’s different for me is…I’ve consolidated to fund watches and cars. Cars over watches for me, but just slightly.
My goal is to try everything I think I may like or want.
Currently branching out to other brands, some not so popular, and back up to 6 after consolidating into a vehicle purchase.

Thank you.

I do like the mint green Navitimer.

I also might want a solid gold watch. Perhaps a DayDate 40 with champagne dial.

But like I said above, I’d subtract one of two before adding another. The DJ41 is the most likely candidate.

For now, I’m just happy with what I got.

Realistically, if I can get down to 20, with 4 or 5 being Rolexes, I should be satisfied.
