I am certain that longtime customers will be just fine. I’m also slightly amused since this is a drop in the bucket.

Why do Rolex not just say to AD's - 'Don't sell to Grey dealers' ? This would solve the problem instead of sanctions on the public!

It’s going to be funny when this turns to a buyers market. We can make the ADs enter a lottery to see which shop I will buy from..oh and also maybe accept bribes or perks to get extra lotto tickets.

They would just cut production. Some of you don’t get it.

Rolex knows/suspects that AD customers are reselling to Grey Dealers. The purchase limit may be a futile attempt to prevent that.

What I actually don’t get is why soooo many people here go out of their way to make d-bag comments like you just did. Maybe you can enlighten me?

The AD where I bought my CHNR also kept the warranty card for 12 months, which is fine by me as I’ve never flipped and likely never will.
He explained That selling to flippers could cost them their dealership and they wouldn’t take the risk of being caught out, so selling to flippers is something they try and avoid like the plague.

Also heard in passing: Florists are now limiting the amount of tulips their customers can buy.

Maybe you can enlighten us?

When have Rolex Sports models EVER experienced a "Buyer's Market". By that definition when prices were below 30% of their MSRP or grey market prices.

We get that you still think that this isn’t intentional

I totally think the short supply is intentional. I still don’t get the rude tone that people out off around here. It baffles me

Not a bad policy. With short supply it will stop the hoarding.
