Omega has done some amazing and remarkable things through its long and storied history. The bracelet on that seamaster is not one of them though…

And I’ll echo what many have said above… the subs, while both beautiful, are redundant. Lose the one with the date.

Gotta be one of the Subs in my mind, probably Sub due to non SEL as people mentioned.

Sub Date or Explorer + Seamaster

Keep Submariner and Speedmaster for sure

The Seamaster is depreciating as we speak. Sell it ASAP
This view is correct if only looking at value, but not wise if you want a balanced collection or variety. If value, and future appreciation is the main consideration why not sell all and get in a hyped model which will get more appreciation.

not considering the value of the 16610 and 16040

and you like each one

i would move the seamaster and explorer 1

on the downside the seamaster diver is technologically advanced. without these 2 you would still have a nice collection

Seamaster doesn't belong in the group, imho.

I’d sell the Omegas, lovely watches but easier to replace

I'd sell the Sub Date, IMHO the classic Submariner is the one to keep it is just such a great looking watch, this leaves you with a great collection, one that is balanced and has diversity.

Whatever you do it will be a tough choice to make and the differences of opinion on here will help you not one jot.

You seem to have a type! I don't think myself, or anyone on this thread can make this decision for you. But I'd personally get rid of one of the subs, probably the 14060. You don't need both.

I know the Seamaster is no Rolex, but I don't think that particular model is quite the dud everyone is saying it is. It looks like it is the Tokyo Olympic model that frequently sells above MSRP, and might not be as easy to replace as the white dial/black bezel version.

Need to part with something - tough

Thanks all so much for inputs. I see the feedback is as scattered as my own thoughts, so I guess I’m not crazy for being right on the fence.

To respond to a few points. Yes this is the Tokyo edition with the blue bezel. I am quite attached to it.

I think I’ve decided the 14060m is out of contention now.

The value thing I get and it does matter to me but it is not the complete equation. When I say I’m on the fence that already takes value considerations into account.

Will keep reflecting. Don’t want to make a mistake.

Variety of opinions here, so I'll add mine. Keep the Seamaster because it is the only watch in your collection with any color. Sell one of the Subs or the Speedy. Three black dial, black bezel, steel bracelet watches is too many.

Personally, I'd keep the Speedy and throw it on a leather strap instead of the bracelet. I'd ditch the no-date Sub because you would still have a non-cyclops Rolex with the Explorer. This would leave you with the most diverse range of options, style wise.

Really no bad choice here though as these are all great watches.

I’d be getting rid of the white Omega SMP. No chance I’d ever be selling any discontinued Rolex sports watches.

The Omegas will be a lot easier (and affordable) to replace with something similar at msrp if you ever wanted to reacquire.

You can always buy another Omega at retail or less.
