Rolex 1600 1601 1603 dials
I have a question on a Rolex 1603 datejust I just bought. The dial has a slight discoloration at the 11-12 o`clock area. I wanted to replace it with a blue dial but I`m having trouble finding one from a 1603. I found some from a 1601 but I don`t know if they will fit into a 1603 case w/ a 1570 movement
oh and by the way..after finding this site I have just purchased my 5th Rolex in 6 month I did give one to my father for all his help through the years thanks for the help Mike |

I "think" they can.
Don't quote me on it, though. |

According to another post I read here the 16XX cases differ only by the bezel it came with from the mfg. 1600 came with a smooth bezel, 1601 came with a fluted bezel and 1603 came with an engine turned bezel. I've been told the dimensions of the case are all identical and the dials from any of them should fit each other. All the 16XX came with the 1570 movement so it should not be a problem.

NP, but I should have said 160X case. In any case (no pun intended) you get the picture.
