New bracelet on my tudor sub.

OK so I got my snowflake back today and the bracelet that was installed was a 78360 with 558b end links. It looks great and I can live without the flip lock, although that would of been nice too.

The thing is, the spring bars are shorter and I can't see them from the sides anymore like the older ones. The bracelet fits good and I don't think it will accidently fall or anything, plus I have the blessing and this has been installed by an AD.

What do you guys think? Does it look okay? All I need now is a bezel pearl, any leads would be highly appreciated!

We should call Steve the "snowman" cause he found one for me as well.
It's an updated oyster so it's more substantial than the original folded style bracelet. Mine came with a updated Rolex 93150 and flip lock clasp. As long as it's a good fit you should have no worries. You can always keep your eyes open for an original in the future but I'm happy with the newer bracelet and natos.

...mmmmmmm...

...sounds like the AD used some DJ end pieces with 1.8mm diameter spring bars. 558's use ONLY the 1.8mm diameter spring bars. The spring bar tubes in the end pieces are that diameter.

...the 1.8mm spring bars are in fact smaller diameter than the 2.0mm. The 2.0mm are designed for use on the full size Tudor Subs and Rolex Subs.

...the 2.0mm sprg bars fit such ends as the 501, 593, 580, 380B, etc.

...your Tud Sub should most likely have the 380B ends, which CAN be used with the 78360 band.

...the use of a smaller dia (1.8mm) sprg bar in the CASE holes designed for use of the 2.0mm sprg bars are in fact WEAKER, because the ends of the spring bars do NOT fill up the hole! They are not only shorter, but smaller in diameter!

...I would go back to the AD and ask them to order you a set of 380B ends with the 2.0mm spring bars. They are STILL available thru an AD. (I just recently ordered a pair.)

...now, as far as the watch goes, GREAT watch! ENJOY!!!!!

RSC Dallas put a 78500 (fliplock) with 380B endlinks on my 79090 early this year.

If you just got it back from the AD I would take it back and tell them to get you the fliplock if that is what you prefer. If you like the current bracelet I would still insist they install the proper endlinks.

Beautiful watch, I wish I had a snowflake.

That's some very useful info! Thanks a lot.

I checked with the AD and they don't have the 380B. But I will listen to your advice and put it on a strap until I find the correct links.
