vintage rolex questions
hey, I'm afraid I'm a huge rolex newbie but hey thats one of the great reasons this forum exists. well i currently only own one watch of any worth (tudor ranger II) but I'm looking to get a new addition and I want to step up to a vintage rolex model. the only problem is i have no idea what model i want. what are some great choices? i really like the watches before the 60's. One I'm starting to lean towards is the WW1 officers trench watches with the red 12, how much would you pay for a model like that and how hard are they to come by? are they faked often?
this watch looks so sexy with the strap but i don't wan't to take the plunge before i take a look at all my options. |

I do not know a lot about that era of watches except that you need to be aware that some of these watches have been redialed/refinished. So certainly post them here before you buy. Good luck and have fun!
